Forty distinct contests appear on the ballot for Westchester County residents in the 2026 general election.

The November 3, 2026, election includes races for governor, lieutenant governor, state comptroller, and attorney general. Voters will also select representatives for four U.S. House districts and seven state senate districts. The ballot further lists contests for 16 county legislator seats, 10 town supervisor positions, and various village boards and judicial roles.

Polling stations will open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Early voting has already taken place for those who opted for that method. The League of Women Voters of Westchester County has hosted candidate forums and debates for the public to hear from the contenders. Their interactive website, Vote411, allows voters to enter their home address to view personalized ballots and locate specific polling places.

Absentee ballots mailed for this election must be postmarked by November 3. The Board of Elections must receive those mailed ballots no later than November 10. Voters can also deliver absentee ballots in person to the Board of Elections or any county poll site by the time polls close on election day.

The gubernatorial race pits Democrat Kathy Hochul against Republican Bruce Blakeman. For lieutenant governor, the Republican nominee is Todd Hood, while the Democratic nominee is not named in the source list. Thomas Dinapoli, a Democrat, faces Joseph Hernandez, a Republican, in the state comptroller race. Letitia James, a Democrat, runs against Saritha Komatireddy, a Republican, for New York attorney general.

Congressional races in the 16th and 17th districts feature George Latimer against Joseph Cinquemani, and Cait Conley against Mike Lawler, respectively. State senate districts 34 through 40 include candidates such as Nathalia Fernandez, Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Jamaal Bailey, Shelley Mayer, and Pete Harckham on the Democratic side. Their opponents include Adrian Romero, Anthony Merante, Grace Marrero, Thomas Fix Jr., and Sergio Esposito.

Local races span numerous towns and villages. In Bedford, Ellen Calves faces Don Scott for supervisor. In Cortlandt, Richard Becker runs against Sheri Ann Cook. Eastchester voters will choose between Cat Sayles and Anthony Colavita. Mount Pleasant, North Castle, North Salem, Pelham, Somers, and Yorktown all have supervisor races on the ballot. Village trustee races in Croton-on-Hudson, Mount Kisco, Pelham, and Pelham Manor require voters to select two candidates each.

Judicial elections include a race for Supreme Court Justice in the 9th Judicial District, where voters select three judges from a list of five candidates. Village justice seats are contested in Croton-on-Hudson and Tuckahoe. A proposition specific to Hastings-on-Hudson asks voters to accept or reject amendments to the Length of Service Award Program for the local volunteer fire department.
