Frisch School holds the No. 1 spot in the latest Yeshiva League basketball power rankings released on October 29, 2026. The Cougars secured the position by winning the Glouberman Tournament championship earlier this week.
Hillel High School made the largest climb in the updated standings. The Heat moved up six positions, rising from No. 9 to No. 3. This jump followed their victory in the MDY Preseason Tournament, where they defeated DRS in the final game to claim the title.
Flatbush Yeshiva remains at No. 2. The Falcons opened their season with a dominant win and have maintained their standing from the previous week's rankings. Both Frisch and Flatbush entered the regular season with tournament wins under their belts.
Magen David and DRS occupy the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, respectively. Both teams have started their regular season play undefeated. DRS remains in the top tier despite losing its tournament final to Hillel, while Magen David has continued to compete at a high level.
The release coincides with the conclusion of early tournament play and the start of regular season competition. The current standings reflect performance from the Glouberman and MDY events, with all five teams in the top tier having recently concluded their preseason schedules.
