Local residents in Sioux Falls will have the opportunity to attend a hybrid entertainment event on Friday, October 30, that merges stand-up comedy with live cabaret performances. The gathering, titled Sara Manson's Halloween Comedy and Cabaret, is scheduled to run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Clubb 224, a venue located in the Lucky's downtown complex.

Organizer Sara Manson stated that the event marks the first time her comedy showcase has incorporated a cabaret segment for the Halloween season. The program will begin with host Jacob Womack, followed by musical sets from DJ Jocelyn. Manson explained that the cabaret performers will deliver specific routines designed around Halloween themes.

Adam Goodge, who was named Sioux Falls' Funniest Comedian of the Year the previous year, is scheduled to open the show before Manson takes the stage as the headliner. Both performers indicated that they intend to wear costumes during their sets. Manson noted that the event includes a costume contest offering cash prizes to participants who compete.

Goodge described his role as primarily focused on generating laughter for the audience. He expressed enthusiasm about utilizing his personal collection of costumes, stating that he has accumulated a large number at home and is eager to display them during the performance.

The event is structured to provide a continuous flow of entertainment, moving from the initial hosting segment to the musical interludes and finally to the main comedy acts. The inclusion of the cabaret element is intended to provide a varied experience distinct from traditional stand-up nights.
