Vernon's Top Priced Homes Stay Below $500K

Home shoppers in Vernon will not find any property on the town's priciest list reaching $500,000. The five highest-priced houses listed for sale on Zillow.com as of Oct. 26, 2026 run from $399,000 to $480,000. The group includes a condo in a 55-and-over community and a home with direct access to Middle Bolton Lake.

The top-priced listing is 35 Warren Ave., asking $480,000. The 2,788-square-foot house, built in 1986, sits on 0.69 acres with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bathroom, central air, hardwood floors, a finished basement, an attached two-car garage, and a flat backyard. It has been listed for 13 days. Second is 64 Risley Road at $469,900, a raised ranch built in 1972 spanning 2,458 square feet on just over an acre, with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bathroom, vaulted ceilings, and a fireplace insert with a stone surround. That listing has been up for 26 days.

Third is Unit 15 at 15 Farm Brook Lane, a standalone ranch condo in the Quail Hollow 55-and-over community asking $450,000. Built in 2003, the 1,603-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on one level and has been listed for 13 days.

Fourth is 6 Miller Road at $419,900, a 1958 contemporary on 0.7 acres with direct access to Middle Bolton Lake. The 3,016-square-foot house has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A $10,000 price cut took effect Sept. 22, and the listing has been active for 59 days. Tied at No. 5 and asking $399,000 are 41 Birch St. and 25 Pineview Drive, both listed three days ago. The Pineview Drive ranch, built in 1965, spans 1,575 square feet with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a granite kitchen, a fireplace, and a home office.

Pending, coming-soon, land-only, and multifamily listings were excluded, along with a 40-acre lot on Reservoir Road priced at $3 million.
